Senior Automation Engineer
Overview As an Automation Engineer you will join the global TIBCO IT team in the development and support of TIBCO Service Desk platform and associated integrations. TIBCO Service Desk platform is the cornerstone of TIBCO's business operations designed to be the hub of the platform services ecosystem and a one-stop shop for all TIBCO employees and beyond. As a member of the platform automation team you will bring your knowledge and ideas to the table to help design and implement forward looking solutions, create exceptional end user experience and integrate new services. $100,000 - $115,000 What You'll Do Build custom solutions using Atlassian Plugin SDK and other technologies Support and maintain existing integrations Design and implement new processes based on customer requirements Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve application failures and performance issues Participate in platform vision development and continuous improvement by leveraging the latest industry knowledge and recommending design improvements Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies Contribute to internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies Respond to end-user requests and educate them on best practices and existing processes Who You Are Proficiency in Java and one the following - Python, Groovy, Go Demonstrated knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS 3
years of experience developing process automation 3
years of experience developing and supporting integrations using APIs Strong analytical skills Working knowledge of SQL Understanding of the Jira back-end architecture is preferred Experience building extensions for Atlassian platform using Atlassian Plugin SDK is preferred Strong focus on customer satisfaction and attention to detail in your work Desire and ability to learn new technologies and provide mentorship for more junior members of the team Ability to adapt quickly to new situations and manage competing priorities U.S. Bachelor or higher degree, or equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems Management or a closely related field of study.
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
